Advocating for Virginia’s Youngest Learners
At Foundation First, advocacy means action. We work to ensure that every child—no matter their zip code—has access to high-quality early learning experiences that build strong foundations for life. Through data-driven storytelling, cross-sector partnerships, and community engagement, we elevate the voices of families, educators, and local leaders to influence state and local policy decisions that strengthen early childhood systems.
Our advocacy efforts connect the dots between early education, workforce development, and economic growth. Whether it’s advancing equitable funding, improving access to child care, or supporting initiatives that build and retain a skilled early childhood workforce, Foundation First champions policies that put children and families first.
Join us as a partner, advocate, or community champion to help shape a future where every child in Virginia has the opportunity to thrive.
